Anil Arora

Anil joined Material as Chief Financial Officer in April 2022. His responsibilities include all aspects of financial management of the company.  He brings extensive experience in scaling businesses in a rapid growth, high rate of change environment across both large and entrepreneurial companies.  Anil’s ability to delivery strategy and structure while maintaining Material’s entrepreneurial culture will be a tremendous asset as Material looks to the future.

Prior to joining Material, Anil held finance leadership roles for multi-billion-dollar divisions of IBM, and CFO roles at Private Equity backed firms such as EN Engineering and AppViewX.  During this time Anil steered successful private equity sale and raised capital in the form of debt and equity.

Anil has advised consulting companies, research firms and hedge funds on a variety of finance topics.  Anil holds an MBA from Emory University, MS from University of Georgia and B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
