As a leader of LRW’s entertainment and media practice, Alex specializes in guiding major media brands through an ever-changing entertainment landscape. He heads teams in NYC and LA that are dedicated to designing and leading a broad range of high-profile media research initiatives: from optimizing the features of new streaming services, to identifying unique audience segments for targeted advertising, to clarifying brands’ competitive advantages in an increasingly fragmented media market for studios.
Alex has a decade’s worth of experience in the entertainment industry. He graduated with honors from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California, and he is pursuing an Executive MBA with a focus on marketing and media at Columbia Business School.
Alex is a passionate consumer of and expert on TV, digital media and new tech. When he’s not “researching” the best new TV shows, Alex can be found checking out live music or reading the latest bestselling novel. Some of his favorites are The Heart’s Invisible Furies, Sing, Unburied Sing and Pachinko. Having grown up in show choirs and a cappella groups, he now enjoys showing off his vocal talents at karaoke bars.
