Matthew leads a team stretching across New York and Los Angeles that shares his curiosity for what motivates human behavior. They use these insights to help clients better understand the real story behind the choices people make.
Matthew boasts over 20 years of experience in marketing consulting. Today, he is as likely to be conducting in-depth patient journey work with rare diseases as he is quantifying the sophisticated forecast models of new technologies worldwide. Matthew particularly enjoys international work, where he finds that assumptions are often turned on their head.
He completed his M.S. in social psychology at the London School of Economics and a B.A. in psychology at Vanderbilt University. He also gained valuable experience during a 15-month post-degree fellowship studying public health systems in Brazil, Uganda and India.
Matthew will fly anywhere on a dime. He is an avid photographer and he has pen pal relationships with many of his subjects in far off lands. People who know him agree that his personality combines the politeness from growing up in an English village with a gregariousness that comes from taking the New York subway every day to work.
