Charles Ellis
SVP, Marketing and Data Science
Charles studies people: how they choose, why they make the choices they do and what forms of persuasion are most effective when it comes to shifting their preferences. He is the resident expert at LRW, a Material Company, on brand health and leads all research and development into innovative ways to measure how brands perform.
Charles has been providing marketing and public opinion research to clients for over 25 years. Prior to joining LRW, he led marketing science teams at Ipsos, MAi and ThinkVine. Among his career accomplishments, one that stands out the most is his technical and analytic innovation for Procter & Gamble’s global brand health system. Originally trained as a political scientist, he holds degrees from the University of Colorado, University of Florida and the Ohio State University.
Charles is happily married and has three boys who fill his weekends with sports. On any given Friday, Saturday or Sunday you can usually find him watching one of his boys playing lacrosse, baseball, football, swimming or running cross-country. Charles also enjoys gym training and running, although he seems to be doing less and less of the latter these days.
